Wakiti Creek Resort can offer patrons the best of both worlds. Situated just 20 minutes from the historical township of Echuca, also central to Barmah, Kyabram, Cobram, Shepparton, Tongala and all the tourist attractions on offer, yet far enough away to relax and unwind amongst the peace and tranquillity this magnificent property has to offer. Surrounded by 1.5km of Wakiti Creek frontage, it is the ideal location for canoeing, fishing, swimming or simply relaxing with a good book with no outside distractions. Enjoy the stunning array of natural bird and wild life. In the evenings you will be amazed at the magnificent blanket of brilliant stars, and watch in awe at the show of shooting stars and satellites.

Accommodation - People
You can enjoy the tranquil surroundings from the luxury and comfort of our modern fully self contained cabins. Each cabin has it’s own well appointed kitchen complete with utensils, crockery etc, lounge and dining area complete with TV and DVD, A luxury appointed bathroom and two separate spacious bedrooms, which sleep 5 - 6 people. All cabins have reversed cycle air conditioning for your comfort
Our bungalows are an open planned cabin, with a double bed, single bunks, futon lounge, kitchenette with all crockery etc, tv, air conditioning and bbq area. These budget cabins do not have a bathroom, however the park’s ammenities are only a short walk away.
Teepees
For a truly unique experience you will never forget, come and stay in our Indian Reservation complete with authentic Sioux Indian Teepees all set in a scene that will take you back in time.
The teepees have flooring and lighting. They come complete with a double mattress and four singles, and sleep six people very comfortably. The teepees are set around the reservations own fire pit area, complete with BBQ and lighting facilities. Its camping without the hassle. Simply bring along your sleeping bag, pillow and sense of adventure and you’re set. Home
You can choose a flat, shady site with power and water or get back to nature and experience camping in the bush, on the banks of the Wakiti Creek, with the satisfaction and peace of mind knowing all the facilities of the park are just a short walk away.
Either way, you can sit back at the end of the day and be mesmerized by the flickering flames of your own camp fire, underneath the brilliant display of stars
Wakiti Creek Resort is the perfect location for you and your horse to get away from it all. Yes, that’s right, you can even bring your horse along.
Situated on over 90 acres and surrounded by over 2000 acres of State Forest along the Wakiti Creek & Goulburn River, horse lovers can enjoy days of riding through endless picturesque bush tracks that lead to secluded sand bars and watering holes.
At the end of a tiring day, your horse can retire to his own individual pen or meander through the main paddock available. Either way, your horse will be safe and secure while you relax and unwind. With over 40 individual secure pens available along with additional paddocks, water and scrape out station, we can cater for the individual family traveling with their horses, right through to large riding clubs and camps
Wakiti Creek Resort is the way a caravan park used to be. Friendly service, where the owners welcome you personally. Where caravans and campers are always welcome. Somewhere the kids can play and ride their bikes safely. Somewhere to spend quality time with family and friends.
Wakiti's massive sites are approximately 16 x 9 metres The spacious sites are designed in a way to give guests optimum privacy, as well as a beautiful outlook either overlooking the creek or overlooking the pool and surrounds, all without detracting from the natural environment.
We have released another 10 new sites (6 have gone already). First in, best dressed for prime pool frontage sites at a budget price.

Pet Friendly
Echuca township is quite a pet friendly town. You can even take your dog on a paddle steamer with you
Wakiti Creek Resort welcomes your family friendly pets. Be it your horse dog cat or bird.
With our 1.2 km walking track that meanders through the bush and along the creek, it is an ideal spot for your much loved pooch to have a run and swim off the lead. For extra exercise, the adjoining 5000 hectares of State Forest is available to explore.
Pet Conditions
All pets must remain on a lead (or in a cage) within the park grounds, and not be left unattended. Droppings must be cleaned up immediately
Pet owners are fully responsible for their pets.
Well trained pets are welcome to stay inside our Bungalow cabins only on the condition that they stay off the furniture and bedding
